InstallShield error codes that can appear during installation
of our software. |

| Common InstallShield errors |

| Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield
Scripting Run Time |
|
| This error most commonly occurs when there are
insufficient access rights during installation. |
|
 |
Try ensuring that you are logged
on with admininstrative rights and that there are no
restrictions in place that might prevent the installer
from operating (examples include network group
policies and anti-virus software
protection) and run the installer again. |
|

| Error -1608: Unable to Create InstallDriver
Instance |
|
| This error most commonly occurs when there are
insufficient access rights during installation. |
|
|
Try ensuring that you are logged
on with admininstrative rights and that there are no restrictions
in place that might prevent the installer from operating
(examples include network group policies and anti-virus
software protection) and run the installer again. |

| Error -1628: Failed to Complete
Installation or |
| Error -1628: Failed To Complete Script
Based Install |
|
| The most likely cause of a 1628 error would
be if one accidentally tried to run the installer more than
once at the same time. |
|

releases ] |

| |
Try removing the installation CD and then
restarting your computer. Once the computer has restarted,
re-insert the CD and wait for the CD menu to appear.
When the menu appears, click just once with the left
mouse button on the top installation option. You should
now wait for the installation to start. |

Note that depending on the
speed of your computer, there can sometimes be a delay
between clicking on the CD's install option and the actual
installation window appearing on the screen. |
